Lace Front Wig, Real Human Hair
Changing your hairstyle is really exciting and everybody likes to dye their hair, style it differently, and get a completely new look. But that can be and long and tedious process that often doesn’t produce the results we want and can also damage the hair. That’s especially true if you have short hair and are dreaming about long, lustrous locks.
Lucky for you, there is a quick and easy solution for that. Wigs offer you an instant length and change of style without having to go through months of growing your hair or doing complicated and harmful dying processes. Isn’t that amazing? A wig is also a lifesaver if you suffer from hair loss or have very thin and damaged strands.
What is a Lace Front Wig?
You have probably heard about lace front wigs, but maybe you’re not exactly sure what they’re made out of or how do they work. It is a type of wig that consists of sheer lace at the front, going from one temple to the other with strands of hair that are sewn into the lace itself. The rest of the wig is made out of a sturdier material which ensures longevity and safety. You will also find three combs attached to the cap which makes attaching the wig even more secure. The lace that covers your front hairline gives an illusion of hair growing out of your scalp and that’s what makes this wig completely undetectable.
There is no way anyone would ever notice that it’s not your real strands so you can enjoy your new, flawless locks without the fear of being discovered. Many girls opt out for wigs because it’s a simple solution for many hair problems and since wig technology has improved so much over the years, the results are simply stunning and seamless.
If you’re on a budget, a lace front wig is the cheapest option out there that will still give you amazing results. But there are a couple of disadvantages to this type of wig.
The first is the parting of the strands. Because the lace is only at a small strip on the front, you cannot part it any way you want like with a full lace wig. They generally come with a predetermined parting, usually in the middle and that’s what you should stick to because it will the most natural. This does cut back on the versatility, but if you’re not that concerned with hair partings, it’s really not a big deal. Another thing about lace front wigs is that you have fewer styling options. Updos and high ponytails are not recommended because the back of your hairline will not look as natural because there is no lace there, but you can still wear a low ponytail without anything showing. So if you’re not the kind of girl who likes wearing her hair up, you should have no problems with a lace front wig.
A wig should fit snugly on your head, but you should not feel any pressure on your head. You can also choose from a couple of different styles, including straight, wavy, and curly locks.
That means you can match the texture of your natural strands, or go for a completely new look if you choose to. Our lace front wigs are made out of real human hair, not synthetic hair, which means they will look completely natural and last a lot longer, if you take good care of them.

Lace Frontal Wig Application Methods
There are several ways to apply the wigs and all of them work great, it all depends on your wig wearing habits and how often you want to remove, refit, or change your wigs. If you’re looking for a more permanent method, then sewing is a great option. It firmly attaches the wig to your head and it will not move which gives you a lot of freedom of movement.
However, if you want to replace or remove your wig more often, we recommend that you go for glue or taping methods. The first consists of using glue or other adhesives like gel which you apply on the lace front. You can also use wig tape which is sticky on both sides, and you also apply it to your front hairline, where the lace is. If you’re still not sure which application method to use, consult your wig professional I order to get the best results.
What's the Difference Between Full Lace, 360* Frontal Lace and Lace Front Wig?
There has been a lot of talk about these three wig types and there is much confusion surrounding them. If you’re new to the wig world, it might be hard to understand all the differences and similarities, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of all three wig types. Knowing the difference between a lace front, 360 frontal, and a full lace wig will help you determine which one suits you best and your hair needs.
Lace Front Wig
A lace front is the most basic out of the three options and the cheapest ones. So if you don’t want to spend a lot of money on a wig, or you simply want to try out wearing a wig, this is the perfect choice. It will still give you that realistic look that everyone is looking for, but not as much versatility like the other two types. A lace front is also the easiest one to apply, so it’s definitely beginner friendly. And if you’re not so hung up on high ponytails and updos, it will serve you great and you will love the results.
360 Frontal Lace Wig
It is very similar to a lace front wig but the difference is that the lace goes all around your head. So you get 360 degrees of the mesh material. That means you will have a perfect hairline not only at the front, but at the back as well. This enables you to wear high ponytails and wear your hair up, any way you want to. Another cool thing about a 360 frontal lace wig is that you can control the density of the strands. You can add as many bundles of hair that you can fit on your crown area and get that extra glamorous look. So if you’re dreaming about voluminous, Beyoncé looking hair, go for the 360 frontal lace wig.
Full Lace Wig
A full lace wig is made completely out of the lace material and has hair sewn onto it one by one. Because that is a very labor intensive process, a full lace wig is the most expensive one. But you definitely get your money’s worth because it is so versatile. You can part your hair in any way that you can imagine and it will still look like the hair is growing out of your scalp. We recommend this wig for any girl who wants that natural look, with hair density resembling real hair. Since you cannot add any more hair to a full lace wig, you cannot get that diva volume, but it still has great, natural density.
How to Apply a Lace Front Wig?
Installing a wig may seem very complicated, but it’s actually not that hard once you get a hang of it. You have the option of going to a wig professional for application, but if you want to save some money, you can do it yourself. If you are new at this, a good idea would be to ask a friend to help you, in case you need an extra pair of hands. For the application process, you will only need your wig, Got2Be glue gel (or a similar product), and you’re set! It couldn’t be any simpler!
1. Before you start applying the wig, you may want to customize it a bit to make it fit even more seamless and natural. If the wig is not pre-plucked, remove a couple of hairs from the hairline to get that realistic look. You can also bleach the roots slightly if you feel that it’s necessary.
2. Moving on to your real strands. The easiest way is to make regular cornrows that go from front to back. This is will the base for your wig.
3. Try to fit your wig and if everything seems good, cut the excess lace from the front. You can do it with regular scissors, just make sure that you cut only the mesh, not the hairs.
4. Remove the wig for now and start applying the gel onto your forehead. Apply some to your finger and smudge it across your hairline. Use a blow dryer on low heat to dry it. Now apply a second layer of the gel and this time don’t dry it completely, leave it a bit tacky.
5. Now is the time to glue down your wig. Place it carefully on your head, by holding it on the front with your fingers. Make sure that everything is in place and gently press the front lace onto your hairline. Lightly tap with your fingers so that the gel connects the hairline and the wig. Use the blow dryer again to dry it quickly.
6. Check one more time that everything is seamless and you’re set! Now you have those longs, voluminous, luscious locks that you’ve always dreamed about and you can go out and show it off!
Lace Front Wig Hair Care Tips
In order to be able to wear your wig as long as possible, you need to take care of it. There is really no point in spending all this money and time on a wig and then totally neglect and damage it. If you want your wig to look as good as new, follow this simple steps.
The first thing that we have to talk about it brushing. This is something you should pay a lot of attention because regular combing prevents tangling and matting of the wig. If you have ever seen an awful, tangled up hair piece, you know how important it is to do this. Of course, you have to be very gentle as to not damage the wig.
Another thing is washing. You will notice when is the time to wash your lace front wig because it will get greasy and won’t look as good. When washing, use natural products that are free of harmful chemicals. You will need a shampoo, a leave in conditioner and you can also use some type of natural oil if you notice that the hair is too dry.
The last thing you should consider is wig storing. When you’re not wearing your lace front wig, you should properly store it and not just throw it in a closet. Your lace frontal wig should be kept away from direct sunlight, heat, and dust. It should be stored in a dry and cool place. A closet is a great place if you’re storing your wig for a longer amount of time. If you plan on wearing the wig again soon, you can simply leave it on a wig stand.
